Using the Dashboard

Detailed vs. Summary View

1. Select the “Heatmap” button at the top of the screen to see general hotspots of calls for service
2. Select the “Pinpoints” button at the top of the screen to see specific call for service points

Date Range Filtering (right-hand side of the map)

1. Minutes, Hours, Days, & Weeks – best visualized using the “Pinpoints” format
2. Months to One Year – best visualized using the “Heatmap” format 

   Legend

   On the Pinpoints Map, click on each incident category to filter by those calls, or click the “+” button next to the category to see a breakdown of the types of calls in each incident category

   Call Details

   1. Single calls: click on any map point to view a pop-up window with call details
   2. Multiple calls: when multiple calls occur at the same or a nearby location, use the arrows at the bottom of the pop-up to navigate between each call
